Martyna – I was diagnosed at 21 years old with soft-tissue sarcoma. The doctors were not 100% sure of the type of my cancer, but most likely it was follicular dendritic cell sarcoma.

I’ve helped out because once you get cancer and you’re going through treatment, you google everything. This is not particularly good as every case is individual and many sources are simply unreliable. The website we’ve worked on will also help young people to get support from real-life experts, which is crucial, as often your closest ones do not know how to support you in times of your diagnosis as they are scared themselves.

Knowing that I could contribute to changing that was a big step for me to fight against cancer. I believe giving young people access to reliable information and sources about their treatment, and trustworthy people, they can get in touch with anytime, will contribute to increasing survival rate in the long-run”.
